James is a qualified mountain bike guide and bike mechanic, with a love of navigating rugged trails and breathtaking landscapes. However, his heart truly belongs to the winter season and skiing. When the first snowfall arrives, James eagerly trades in his bike for a pair of skis, ready to conquer the slopes.
James brings a wealth of experience, including 6 years running and developing a ski tour business in Japan. He brings a meticulous attention to detail to the table, with an innate ability to focus on the finer points and think several steps ahead to craft unforgettable adventures.
From intricately planning challenging expeditions to curating immersive cultural experiences, James's dedication to precision ensures that every adventure is a finely-tuned journey.

Vaun blends hospitality and action-sports expertise in leading ski and wine tours worldwide. With a decade of experience in ski operations and outdoor education across various countries, his background spans renowned ski destinations like New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Vail, and Jackson Hole.
A certified Wilderness First Responder with a background in outdoor education, Vaun has played integral roles in crafting and leading programs, curating immersive outdoor experiences, and guiding experiential learning trips for youth.
His multifaceted skill set—encompassing skiing, skateboarding, surfing, and fly fishing—along with his dedication to safety, adds a layer of professionalism to Soulscape Adventure's tours.
